I’m a coach, creative, and witchy theological auntie helping people become peacemakers — not just peacekeepers.
Hi, I’m
January
It’s spiritual formation with
swearing and crayons.
You don’t need me
to tell you the world is
a hot mess right now.
Violence and deceit are burning through our culture like wildfire. You know you want to do something to help, but you have no damn idea where to start.
The great news is, you’ve got everything you need to start exactly where you are.
You may not have the power to stop violence between nations, but you do have the power to stop the violence within yourself — the perfectionism, people-pleasing, and relentless productivity that keep you riding the knife’s edge between breakdown and burnout. The moment you put down the weapons holding your creative power hostage, you embark on the adventure of becoming a peacemaker instead of a peacekeeper.
What if ending the violence
out there begins with ending
the violence within?
My name is
January Jaxon.
As a coach and theologian, I help people find power through creativity & courage instead of through control, so we can quit brutally trying to “fix” each other (or ourselves!) and instead give our attention to the gifts we each contribute to a future of collective flourishing.
I know exactly how painful it is to sacrifice your soul every day just to survive. But I believe we can build a world where people and organizations act with integrity — where creativity, trust, and belonging shape the way we live and lead.
Here’s how we do it
Healing
shame
Through honest conversation and compassionate witnessing, you free up energy that’s been conscripted for self-protection.
Fostering
embodiment
By learning to experience the wisdom of your body, you develop a trustworthy compass to guide your choices.
Reclaiming
creativity
By re-orienting your imagination toward what’s possible, and not just what’s a problem, you learn to trust your creative power.
This work isn’t easy.
But if we ignore it, every “should”
becomes a weapon we aim
at our own souls, severing
our capacity for presence,
peace, and joy.

Host & Writer
With my co-host Andrew McRae, I help listeners read Scripture through the lens of wholeness and nonviolence, so they can let go of toxic beliefs without losing the living heart of Christian faith.

What people say
“Your task is to walk back from the woods with an animal. Not a pelt, not a corpse, but something alive. Curate that energy, feed it, don’t domesticate it; make culture from it. It should be walking alongside you, not slung over your shoulder.
You build your structures
from its growls.”
